Action in gold has exceeded my expectations. I have been involved in gold market since 2004. The current up slope of gold chart is steeper than previous two up slopes. Finally UOB gold fund also outperforms STI for 3-year period. So how would gold perform in January 2006 (case 1 or case 2 in UOB gold fund vs STI chart)? Would gold make the final top for 2005/2006 in January 2006 based on seasonal charts (http://www.spectrumcommodities.com/education/commodity/charts/gc.html and http://www.seasonalcharts.com/cash/metals/gold/chart.htm) ? Based on volume of gold futures (http://www.marketcenter.com/chart?cont=GC+%23F&period=W&size=800x550&bartype=CANDLE&bardensity=MEDIUM&STUDY=MACD&STUDY0=12&STUDY1=26&STUDY2=9&[0]STUDY=RSI&[0]STUDY0=14&[1]STUDY=VOI&[1]STUDY0=1&[1]STUDY1=1) and gold stocks (http://www.masteremail.com/Images/Charts/IndexCharts/$HUI_Weekly_VolumeChart.jpg), I think case 2 is more likely even though gold index is not as strong as gold futures. What do you think?
